“My Neck Doesn’t Move Much?”

Here are the neck ranges or ROM’s courtesy of livestrong.com

Flexion, which is tilting forward is 40-50 degrees
Extension or tilting back is 45-70 degrees
Rotation Right or Left (turning)60-80 degrees
Lateral Flexion is bending or tilting to the side Right or Left is 45 degrees.

Someone who feels that their neck doesn’t reach these may have built up a certain amount of arthritis. He/She may have also had a neck injury causing one or more of those ranges to be decreased.
A good thing to do is to periodically stretch the neck and put it through some ROM’s. Doing this everyday will gradually improve that range of motion.
